HID install on page 2
Finished install, don't think I'll put any more money into this car. I've had it since i was 14, that was a long long long time ago...
Too bad digital cameras didn't exist back then, or i could show u guys how it used to look... what a project... lots of body work, interior, and the engine has been rebuilt...
Slowly searchin for a good used S2000 or mabe a 93 RHD supra (I don't think i could afford a LHD for now).
pic of HKS Sports Exhaust
Genuine HK plate. Made just for me!!!My 3 cars outside
park it outside one day... and this is what happens
speedo in KM/H, thus only 76,493 Miles
My project mr2.
Sparco Speed Seats. Waited 5 months to get the drivers side seat bracket!!! Order was placed at the beginning of Feb, parts came in end of July.
New rims and rubber along with a 1' drop. TRD springs used.
Pic of front wheel. BFGoodrich KD/W 205/40/17. Way too big for the car. Had to grind some of the bottom strut towers away (in the front) so that the tires wouldn't rub on extreme cornering.
Pic of the rear wheel.
Pic from the side. Thats my Supra hibernating in front of my mr2.
Cheezy pic, back in the fast and furious days... today i shake my head...
Other Mr2 that almost became a project in the family

My HID install on page 2.
#p#
Well this page is devoted to my HID install i guess... lot more work than i thought... take a look... im still not done...
here is my daily driver now... 94 civic. I had the 30000k hid's in it but i thought it didn't really suit the car, therefore i went out and bought a 5000k kit.
pic of the wiring and ballast up close. Ballast is only 20mm thick.
both kits are bi-xenon.
I needed to adjust the camera settings so that it would show the colour of the lights correctly... that's why it's so dark. (but the colours are true to the chart)
as you can see by the last pic, the colours are different. the right is a 5000k and the left is a 30000k.
I've decided to swap out the 30000k in the civic in favor of the 5000k and to put the 30000k into the mr2. hope it turns out better...
lots of work to do still... thought it was going to be easy since there is lots of room in the front trunk... however the flip up lights require the wires to be longer, and the front trunk is sealed air tight so holes need to be made to pass the wires through. So... cut, drill, grind...
pics of the ballast
H6054 or H4 aftermarket housing... not those diamond cut plastic housings. needed to modify to fit the bi-xenon bulb.
89 supra targa turbo. I'll try to post up some new pics soon, this car is in the back yard, all wrapped up, waiting for spring. This car was a huge project (in my eyes, but i know that there are guys on cardomain.com that are incredible with their hands, so they might think otherwise) aswell. Needed turbo, headgasket, interior trim peices, exhaust, rims'n rubber and again, a lot of bodywork. only aftermarket stuff now is one of those goofy k&n filters, cat back exhaust and rims off an IS300. (I think I'm getting too old for stuff like this.)
